Calling all healthcare providers, wellness practitioners, and advocates of health and prevention! “Wellness 2026: Promoting Health, Well-Being and Quality of Life” is a conference designed by wellness advocate and occupational therapist Michael A. Pizzi, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA. In collaboration with Kean University in NJ and the wellness conference committee, the conference will focus on hands-on, practical, and innovative work in the wellness space, offering interactive experiences that extend beyond traditional lecture formats. All hands-on sessions will be evidence-based, and all participants will learn new skills they can immediately apply in their practice.
Please consider submitting your proposal, due December 31, 2025, and share this opportunity with your colleagues. Attendance will be limited. Registration will open in January 2026 (or earlier). Stay tuned to this space. Exciting things are happening, and you need to be part of it!
The conference brings together OT’s, PT’s, psychologists, social workers, complementary medicine practitioners, massage therapists, holistic nurses as well as wellness professionals, coaches, educators, and community leaders dedicated to promoting health, prevention, and wellness in everyday practice.
This year’s theme highlights practical, integrative, and innovative approaches that support well-being in clinical, community, and organizational settings. We are especially interested in strategies that can be applied directly in practice and daily life to empower individuals, families, workplaces, and communities to thrive and promote wellness.
The focus of this conference is how wellness and quality of life initiatives are used in practice and for personal use, emphasizing hands-on approaches, and using evidence to support them.
